 SEM 3 DKA study subjects and experience sharing


( sem 3 subject list & credit score) 
This sem3 moderator takes about 16 creidt hours for 7 subjects. 3 subjects are required to take the final exam.



1)INDUSTRIALISED BUILDING SYSTEM (IBS) IN SUSTAINABLE CONSTRUCTION   【2 credit】 
✅Have case study, present, report
✅IBS also has its own software called "IBS calculate" like our AutoCAD software.
✅INDUSTRIALISED BUILDING SYSTEM (IBS) just like the name industrialized building (building) and ensure that it can last for a long time, his benefits also reduce maintenance and reduce the use of manpower. Such as precast wall, precast concrete.

Learning purpose: to build with new construction engineering technology; to keep up with the construction technology of the times

2)GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERING    【3 credit】

✅There is a final exam subject (this subject is the most difficult in this sem) 
✅Briefly explain is a subject has 50% theory +50% calculation
✅The first chapter is theory, it is related to the 4th subject, it is also very similar to the material we learned before

3) HIGHWAY AND TRAFFIC ENGINEERING 【3 credit】
✅Highway & Road Studies
✅There is a final exam subject 
✅Although it only writes highway and traffic, it learns 3 systems. highway, transport, road.
✅There are several layers of learning road (common 4 layers), rigid pavement has 3 layers; their respective uses. Calculate the thickness for each layer
✅This subject also has a bab that everyone has learned and knows that it is super like undang, and learned how to calculate the time to build a traffic light

4)GEOTECHNICAL AND HIGHWAY ENGINEERING LABORATORY  【2 credit】
It is a lab subject of highway and geo
✅ There are 3 teachers to teach. geo one, highway one

Learning purpose: to understand the properties of the material/supported weight

5)FLUIDS MECHANICS  【2 credit】
There is a final exam subject 
✅ Subject like the phy we learned when SPM. If you don't learn it, don't be afraid, because it's the same as the science engineering we learned in sem 1, and then some courses need to use sem 2 and we learn the structure algorithm.
✅It's more about counting
✅Enhanced version of phy + a little sem2 structure subject

6)COMMUNICATIVE ENGLISH 2 【2 credit】
✅presentation, task, test
✅Learn to grammar

Learning purpose: learn English, prepare to face muet

7)ENTREPRENEURSHIP  【2 credit】
✅A lesson that every department will take in sem3 or sem4
✅Need the help of others like&follow in order to do the report
✅There are many activities and lectures

Summarize
Thanks to the people/classmates/children/group members who helped me in this study, I am very excited to meet so many Chinese who come to the school in the third sem (including my SPM group members); there is no such thing in the dormitory It was deserted, which added fun and variety to my reading period. I hope everyone can get the corresponding results in this sem. strive for university! !

CESAC是什么社团?有面试?参加对工作与升学有重大影响!

之前版主有讲过做一篇关于Civil Engineering Student Affairs Club (CESAC)【PMK】的详细篇对吗?那么今天就来试试手了哈哈哈,怎么试手呢?就是写文章。刚好版主也有加入此社团。

📌CESAC 它的全名是:Civil Engineering Student Affairs Club
📌一个学生社团
📌全国只有两间或者只有PMK拥有
📌CESAC不算在课外活动分数里因为我们diploma没有koko分的。
📌CESAC 是个koko(额外的)的,所以学生要不要参加也是取决于自己。
📌如果成功加入了CESAC,您便会得到身为member成员的certificate (sijil) 



📌开放给Jabatan Kejuruteraan Awam (JKA) /civil engineering /土木工程系的(前面是同个意思)学生申请加入
📌如果您是有错过之前的或者是新生可以关注面试的时间。通过面试便可加入。
📌SEM1-SEM5都可以加入,通常SME 3后很少有。SEM 5结束了的学生进入了internship的阶段便会退出CESAC。
📌CESAC大概有50+的成员(还没包括老师)



📌需要面试或者招生的时候应该会一年举办一次。您们可以注意班级群或者POLIMELAKA的群。
📌面试大概会问:
  • 您来自哪里?
  • 您的爱好是什么?
  • 您的优点或强处是什么?
  • 您平常或者学校生活怎样?有参加什么活动吗?
  • 最后,就会问您如果加入了社团,您会做什么贡献
📌面试我们的人也是社团里的senior(学生),所以当作聊天就好。
📌一般面试时间会在没有课的时候或者是下课过(5PM-6PM)这样。
📌面试时候,senior会分开我们几组来讨论问问题,大概2个senior对4个面试人(我们)。
📌他们会分享或者提醒一些东西。
📌可以用国语或者英语面试。
📌需要穿FORMAL的衣服(因为要正式)
📌通常去面试的过后几天就能知道消息了。【一般都通过面试】
📌每年一次招新成员!!

📌Lecturer 的职位来的。(每年都会换老师))
📌帮忙检查报告,通过paperwork (PW),学生才能够举行活动

YANG DIPERTUA
📌CESAC的captain来的。中学我们所称的Pengerusi。
📌目前都是SENIOR会做这个职位,大致上SEM6的senior去internship(实习),我们CESAC里便会投票决定新的SEM 5 senior 谁当这个职位
📌他是帮忙check PW,跟进CESAC成员办活动的重要人之一
📌如果CESAC要与学校其他的社团合作举办一个活动要问过他,然后与他拿联系方式。

NAIK YANG DIPERTUA
📌女senior当的职位,其他的跟YP 责任一样

SETIAUSAHA
📌母庸质疑,这是一个秘书
📌负责做PW,管理PW的进度,检查paperwork怎样,然后给意见
📌在meeting时,他/她会做点名,记录讲的重点,哪个exco有举办什么新的活动或者几时举办
📌她会更进活动的进展,比如几时办活动,几时会颁奖


BENDAHARI 
📌照顾CESAC社团的tabung
📌管理活动的支出与收入
📌更重要的是lecturer会看着钱。钱有分两种:活动钱或者是正在活动的花费;另个是结束活动后奖品的花费。
📌如果举办的活动需要钱/花费,可以跟这个职位的他讨论

👬参加可以认识更多朋友与拉近同学及学姐学长的关系
👬参加活动可以一边游玩一边学习。不单单只是整个politeknik生涯里面只有学习
👬参加社团与活动可以拿到一些sijil或者是explore更多地方(版主就是喜欢探索不同地方)
👬日后能帮助到求职
👬学习利用一些方式制作广告,做report,做paperwork等等技能。
👬学到使用“surveymonkey”




😻这个在看的读者最想知道的部分。嘿嘿嘿
😻活动因为是exco提出的,通过了需要先做paperwork介绍流程然后学AJK来帮忙举办活动。之后就会交给penasihat,最终通过了才可以开始根据pw上面时间进行。(通常PW举办活动的时间是2~3个星期后交上去给lecturer)
😻活动举办久不久需要看那是什么活动

  • FUTSAL --踢足球在场地里的。不是那种草地

  • LOVE OUR MELAKA RIVER--清理melaka河(鸡场街那里的)

  • 有帮忙举办CIDB活动。

  • 我们的社团有办过学校的JKA颁奖典礼在学校礼堂--派发给获得3.5GPA或以上的学生sijil akj,然后最后环节我们有拍CESAC的合照。点我查看

  •  JKA Bowling Night --这个活动是有bus带我们去那里bowling场的,然后我们社团开放给全部系的,所以我们包了10+个bowling道来进行比赛。(有面包吃和包装水,有sijil,赢了有奖品--礼篮)【晚上的🌙🌙】

    这也是我在melaka认识的第一个bowling中心。

  • Program Entrepreneur Talk 3.0---sem 1的学生参加的。这个活动学会了如何定目标,有问答环节有送iPhone的Bluetooth  x3个(未开装的)

  • Bengkel Microsoft Word Documents&Excel ---这个是教我们怎样使用word打字,做sijil和做survey调查的form的survery monkey,学到了不少。【晚上的🌙🌙】

  •  有参加过YB举办的去原住民做project的活动(有YB COP的sijil)【Program usahasama bakti kampung solik biak】,这个活动里面我们有进行去帮原住民/kampung人做gotong royong这样,但是是YB举办的。里面的活动也有帮忙切菜,煮饭,排座椅,吃好料等等(忙到饿了当然都是好料哈哈哈)早上7点到中午这样。

  • 有举办过去SK(sekolah kebangsaan)Hulu Komuniti 去做义工【CSR】(移树--用锄头挖泥土,丢东西,帮忙整理,搬座椅,油漆--墙壁与地上,做floor paper--一个区域是纸地板,做装饰 )【包早与午餐,有水,有currypuff,有马来糕,等等好料】,

  • 举办过游戏项目。比如玩PUPG(吃鸡),ML/mobile legend ,等等。赢了有游戏里的奖品。点卷或者奖金......【晚上的🌙🌙】

  • 帮忙举办的IBS 讲座--SEM 3学生而已
  • 帮忙举办saringan工作讲座


其他的应该之后加,如果版主有介入版权将删那个内容。

注释:有时候活动在上课(kuliah)时间,所以cesac会出memo/surat可以跟老师请假。但是,有些活动没办法有信。


🗣您怎么连这么好的社团都要退出呢?哈哈哈
🗣退出方法就是要向YANG DIPERTUA 或者Penasihat申请退出。
🗣几时都可以退出


💤有一些活动是免费的,另一些活动是需要付一点钱。
💤免费的是比如:在学校的讲座,去CSR(做义工),去做AJK(帮忙活动的人)还有其他特殊原因。
💤付费的活动as like as:去外州办活动,去远一点地方玩比如bowling,还有一些有奖品的比赛活动。虽然是付费但是也是有CESAC提供了一点补贴比如交通费,食物费用(需要申请到)。
💤因为我们一年差不多可以有30+~50+个大大小小的活动可以参加,所以多多少少都会影响到学业的进度尤其是活动撞到课。不过,我们可以学习到如何自律学习,规划好时间去做事情。



✅如第8部分讲的一样,学习到自律,时间管理,玩乐学习双收。
✅如第7部分介绍的活动,从中我们能走马看花,虽然很辛苦要做活动,但是可以顺便使用我们美丽的眼睛收纳美丽的景色~~仿佛在旅游
✅参加Sukan 或者sport可以让我们培养运动的精神与坚持就像版主一样,每次从爬山或跑步学到了抗压,坚持,认识大自然又是个不伤害眼睛的解压方法(玩电子游戏) 
✅可以收获Sijil,如果要申请大学的奖学金或者私人公司公开给的奖学金可以比较容易申请获得。
✅之外,如果您不打算读degree直接出来做工,老板会选择您比起STPM/SPM/PT3/UEC。
✅学习到许多网站与software的使用技巧&运行~~


😋参加社团不单单是从活动中像是第9部分的好处,而且还学习到如何面试工作呢哈哈哈
😋由于您经常举办或带领活动,所以会产生leadership的精神,公司也会选择您但是也需要通过考试与面试~~
😋不但只是对工作有影响,还会上更早适应大学社团的style/活动/生活。
😋不单单是学习,也要强身健体。

I AM LIANG .TODAY , i write this post or explanation about my sem 1’s course in Politeknik Melaka(PMK). My program is Diploma Civil Engineering (DKA) , and in this program has 8 subjects + 1 co-curriculum.(Total:19 credit hours ) like about the diagram.

3. ENG.DRAWING AND CAD [ 2 credit hours  ]  

              💨Drawing (LK/GKT)  【hand drawing】

> Just like LK/GKT with using  pen (2H, 5H ),compasses, long ruler, big triangle ruler and each ohter drawing tools to draw .

>I still remember the first time I waited for the teacher in the school because I didn’t know the school.As a result, we changed from "new friends" to the end of the school, so we ran away.But the time was still 5 minutes late, the teacher immediately refused to enter the class and did not count as attendent. -_-

>The computer system should be good. It is recommended that you buy an intel i5 computer and it will not get stuck easily.Remember to save a part every time you make a part, or you will restart with a card, hehehe (coming over).

4.   BRICKWORK AND CONCETE LABORATORY   

                                            2 credit hours

Both of these are from lab work (need to actually do the finished product)

BRICKWORK  (Brickwork Research)

For brick, learn the types of bricks, and then learn how to arrange the bricks (4 discharge methods) to make a blessed wall, and learn plaster (paint the cement on the brick wall). It is fun to learn how to mix cement with sand and water (1:3:1) although it is fun to get dirty clothes after each festival. *Supplement* We use line in the lab, because if you use cement, it will not be removed.

>concrete I can't go to practical before I get there, but I think the other half of our class has a cube that is made of concrete, for example, what proportion of sand, soil, ash, and water are needed to make a concrete cube. The picture is as follows:

>Then my concrete lab work is online. The teacher gave us a simulation website to do a lab to answer questions. Two of the five labs are different, the first and the fifth. For the first lab, we need to find equipment in our own home, do experiments with materials, and then take videos to teachers.

Steps to make cube: 

1) Mixed simen: fine anggregate: cost anggregate

  Ratio 》1: 2: 4

  Moisture》 60% --90%

Turn evenly

                               Use rod to hit the concrete so that it has no extra space (air)

              Erase the concrete that goes out to make it easier to open when it hardens

Use an instrument to compress concrete and record the withstand value of when it started to crack
This experiment is called "strength test"

 Small note: When doing things about cement, you need to wear PPE (protective glasses) and avoid inhaling the cement because it is easy to rush, and solidification will occur where there is water.


5.  ENG.SURVEY  [3 credit hours]

>Engineering Investigation

> ENG. survey Take the instrument to measure the contruction height/level, highway,

 Calculate road angle and distance. Inside Coordinate, there are Learned (x, y, z), (x, y) is leveling and (z) is traverse. Then the plan map will see that the work map before development has beering (angle), length/chainage, higher ).It is called plan akui, and then it can be applied to autocad to draw him.

 6.  COMMUNICATIVE ENGLISH 12 credit hours

>English  Just learn to communicate, although the host is not very good at English

>assignment Let’s design a poster that opposes abuse child. 

 

7.   OCCUPATIONAL, SAFETY AND HEALTH FOR ENGINEERING 

2 credit hours

OCCUPATIONAL, SAFETY AND HEALTH (OSH. This subject is mainly to learn the eng construction site and construction laws of Malaysia. It includes reducing work hazards, how the company should reduce site hazards, what PPE should be used for work, what are the hours of work ENG ERGONOMICS, calculation How much knowledge will be lost if you don’t take precautions.

。What I like most is learning the accident or incident part. Do you know the difference between them?

8.   PENGHAYATAN ETIKA & PERADABAN 2 credit hours

>etika & penghayatan is sejarah mixed with moral knowledge, but they are all very shallow things.

>Be prepared for sleep (do not learn from others if you make a mistake)

>This is not a very five chat because it has e-folio (acting) and some presentations, the teacher is very easy to chat


9.   KELAB/PERSATUAN 1 credit hours

>We are in a SEM because of the epidemic situation, so koko can only choose kelab/persatuan. However, students who take civil eng are required to choose kelas landskap only. In this kelab, I learned how to use or beautify the space to make the place more beautiful. We have done:

o   Research on Malaysian plants (presentation of benefits and uses,functions)

o Make woodworking products-wooden lamps. In this process, I learned how to use the wood chipper correctly, half of the time. I and I thought my friends from different races—raam went to buy teh ais and bought 18 bags per pack (the teacher paid hehe hehe)

o We use concrete and cloth and bucket to make a flower pot. The following is the concrete cloth that has been soaked and placed on the bucket to make it into the shape of a flower pot. (It needs to be put for a week when it’s done, hehe)





In addition, we also have a kind of cactus (Cactaceae) in the flower pots we bought and arranged it. Secretly told that cactus is also edible, I only knew about it on Singapore TV show before. I will tell you later 👀👀

CONCLUSION:
A little hard work will not make the test very unsatisfactory. People have to love learning to make learning happy. People have to keep researching and trying to make progress.
